VIDEO: Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson Croon Their Hearts Out in Rat Pack-Inspired ‘Voice’ Trailer
Sin City-set Season 14 spot also stars celebrity coaches Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton
February 23, 2018Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys, and Kelly Clarkson are flying high and feeling great in a trailer for the latest season of “The Voice,” premiering next week on NBC.
The Rat Pack-inspired, black-and-white spot (above) sees the show’s celebrity coaches pairing up to sing standards on a vintage Las Vegas stage, beginning first with a tuxedo-clad Blake and Adam delivering a duet of “Fly Me to the Moon,” famously sung by Frank Sinatra in 1964. After finishing, the gentlemen make way for the dazzlingly dressed Alicia and Kelly, who sing a smooth rendition of “Feeling Good,” a classic track covered by everyone from Nina Simone to Michael Bublé.
When Adam last visited the Stern Show in late 2017, the Maroon 5 frontman revealed plans to continue coaching on “The Voice” for a “long time”—no matter how many pictures of poop his friend and colleague Blake sends him. Listen to Adam discuss his friendship with the country music star (below).
Adam’s visit came just a few days before his colleague Kelly Clarkson made one of her own. While she didn’t sing any jazz standards during her sit-down with Howard, the prolific singer-songwriter did put together one heck of an in-studio performance. She brought along a full band and backup singers for a mini-concert which included hits like “Since U Been Gone” and “Because of You” (below).
Season 14 of “The Voice” debuts Monday at 8 p.m. on NBC. Watch the new spot (above).
