A mischievous Marvel supervillain gets coerced into solving time crimes in the official trailer for “Loki,” arriving June 11 on Disney+.

Tom Hiddleston (“Thor: Ragnarok”) reprises the role of Loki, the Asgardian trickster last seen in “Avengers: Endgame” sneaking off with a mystical artifact capable of bending space and time. As “Loki’s” trailer (above) begins, Tom’s character has already been apprehended by the Time Variance Authority, a mysterious organization tasked with preserving the timeline.

“You picked up the Tesseract, breaking reality. I want you to help us fix it,” pencil-pushing T.V.A. bureaucrat Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) says.

After being tried for his time crimes, Loki eventually agrees to join forces with the time cops, but first he pleads with Mobius to get his own weapon. “You can trust me,” he insists.

“Loki, I’ve studied almost every moment of your entire life. You’ve literally stabbed people in the back like 50 times,” Wilson’s character says.

“Well, I’d never do it again!” Hiddleston responds.

Created by Michael Waldron (“Rick and Morty”), the six-episode series co-stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Wunmi Mosaku. “Loki” serves as the MCU’s third live-action Disney+ offering, following “Wandavision” and “The Falcon and Winter Soldier” which debuted earlier this year.

Loki” debuts June 11 on Disney+.
