Post Malone Paints and Doja Cat Goes Topless in ‘I Like You (A Happier Song)’ Music Video

Recent Stern Show guest also drops trailer for new documentary, “Runaway”

July 28, 2022

Doja Cat gets topless and serves as Post Malone’s muse in the music video for “I Like You (A Happy Song),” their capricious collaboration off the latter artist’s latest album, “Twelve Carat Toothache.”

The clip begins with Post painting himself an angel, a good girl who—by his lyrics—will “share this heart with me.” The Powers That Be soon deliver him a muse by way of the Grammy-winning “Kiss Me More” musician Doja Cat, who makes quite the first impression when she enters the frame frolicking topless through a field. Later, when Doja’s wearing nothing but a few flowers, Post moves his canvas outside and paints her portrait.

Debuting earlier this week on YouTube, the video for “I Like You (A Happier Song)” already has around 5 million views. The tune serves as the third single of Post’s collab-heavy album which also features a team up with Roddy Ricch and one with The Weeknd.

It’s been a big week for Post, who also dropped a trailer for “Runaway,” an upcoming concert film and documentary about his life and career. The clip shows the burgeoning music icon discussing several of the same topics he opened up to Howard about last month during his Stern Show debut. Check out the trailer (below).

“Twelve Carat Toothache” is available now. “Post Malone: Runaway” debuts Aug. 12 on Amazon’s Freevee.
