Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux accidentally torpedo Richard Nixon’s presidency in “White House Plumbers,” a limited series from “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Veep” executive producer David Mandel.

Debuting next March on HBO, the five-episode political dramedy follows real-life Watergate masterminds E. Howard Hunt (Harrelson) and G. Gordon Liddy (Theroux) as their bungled attempts at political sabotage end up truncating the presidency of the man they were trying to get re-elected.

“We will be laughed at as third-rate burglars forever,” Harrelson laments in the teaser (above). “People need to understand why we did what we did.”

Based on Egil and Matthew Krogh’s 2007 book “Integrity,” the ensemble series co-stars Lena Headey, Judy Greer, Domhnall Gleeson, F. Murray Abraham, Kiernan Shipka, and Kathleen Turner as well as Stern Show celebrity superfan Ike Barinholtz, who should be on hand Wednesday, Dec. 14, for the much-anticipated return of Hollyweird Squares.

“White House Plumbers” debuts March 2023.
