Stern Show superfan and frequent song contributor Daniel Mendelson recently teamed up with Broadway superstar Adam Pascal to release a touching musical tribute to Stern Show icon Ralph Cirella, who passed away tragically and unexpectedly in 2023. The song, set to Barry Manilow’s “Mandy,”

“Here it is, Ralphie—enjoy it if you can hear it,” Howard said before playing the heartfelt send-up of Barry Manilow’s “Mandy,” which incorporated many of Ralph’s most memorable moments on the show, from his ushering in of the phrase “hey now” to his unique lion-like laugh.

Hearing the tribute made both Howard and co-host Robin Quivers emotional. “That was good. I got a little teary there,” Howard said. “I’m all choked up.”

“I’m a little teary,” cohost Robin Quivers agreed. “[The song] was funny, and it was great to hear Ralph, and we do miss him.”

“Well sung, too. Adam Pascal and Daniel Mendelson should form a super group,” Howard concluded.
