Nearly four decades years after its release, the “Stars Wars” parody “Spaceballs” is finally getting a sequel. “After 40 years, we asked, ‘What do the fans want?’ But instead, we’re making this movie,” Mel Brooks — the director, producer, and co-writer of the cult classic — joked in an announcement teaser.

“Wow, one of my favorite movies,” co-host Robin Quivers said Monday after hearing news of 2027 reboot.

“He’s 98, same age as my mother,” Howard marveled of Brooks, who will reportedly reprise his role as Yogurt.

Also set to return is Rick Moranis — who has remained mostly out of the spotlight since the late ’90s, when he retired to focus on family. “What a guy,” Howard said of Moranis, noting he was a disc jockey before finding fame on the Canadian sketch comedy show “SCTV.” “We’ve made a life of just staying on the radio — other people just use it as a steppingstone,” he joked.
