Gary Is the ‘Preachy’ Friend on Facebook

Stern Show Executive Producer Gary Dell’Abate doesn’t even need to be in the same room as Howard to irk him it would seem. In a Facebook post last week, Baba Booey detailed how he wanted to take his son to a Mets game, but saw that prices for a ticket to fly him down from Syracuse were double the normal price, so he debated not doing it. In the end, he did fly his son down and they had a great time. At the end of the Facebook post, Gary proclaimed: “I hope if you see this and you are on the fence about treating yourself to something special….just do it! Cause it’s worth it!”

The message was not received well by Howard who found it preachy and annoying. Robin, meanwhile, who reportedly walked in this morning and complimented Gary on it, revealed that she too was poking a little bit of fun at him when she said it.

In the end Gary doesn’t regret either his decision to fly his son down or posting it to Facebook.
