Can Fred Norris Craft a Hit Song With Howard?
Can Fred Norris Craft a Hit Song With Howard?
Wendy the Slow Adult’s “Fluffy Wuffy” offers some uninhibited inspiration
Howard and Fred spent Tuesday afternoon (or at least 15 minutes of it) putting music to tape at “Flabby Road” studios as the two sought inspiration for a hit song they’ve been working on crafting.
“I must admit my shortcomings,” Howard told listeners on Wednesday, though. “In a way, I was very inhibited.”
In order to get Howard uninhibited, Fred reminded him of the lyrics Wack Packer Wendy the Slow Adult ad-libbed during a recent trip to the Stern Show studio, which even got transformed into a fully produced club banger. Listen below.
Fred was more optimistic about the recording session and maintained that Howard left him with “a very good idea” to work with. “I’m thinking we could have something here,” he said. “And if it turns out to be a piece of shit, nobody will ever hear it.”
For now, take a listen to the Howard-penned “Silver Nickels and Golden Dimes,” performed by Gwar.
