Bruce Springsteen Releases ‘There Goes My Miracle’ Lyric Video

Song appears on the rock legend’s June 14 album “Western Stars”

Bruce Springsteen has released “There Goes My Miracle,” a new single off his much-anticipated 19th studio album “Western Stars.”

Rumored to be about everything from the Boss’s children to former U.S. President Barack Obama, the nostalgia-heavy ballad is the second track Bruce has previewed from his new album following the April release of its lead single “Hello Sunshine.” While Bruce apparently first performed “There Goes My Miracle” as early as 2008, the song never made its way onto any of Bruce’s previous efforts.

The rock legend has described “Western Stars” as in the tradition of Glen Campbell, Jimmy Webb, and Burt Bacharach’s 1970s records. “I don’t know if people will hear those influences, but that was what I had in my mind,” he told Variety in 2017.

“Western Stars” serves as Bruce’s first studio release since 2014’s “High Hopes,” but he has remained busy in the interim with touring the globe, putting on an exclusive show for SiriusXM subscribers, and even engineering his own Tony-winning concert special, “Springsteen on Broadway.”

Bruce Springsteen’s “Western Stars” is available June 14. Watch the lyric video for “There Goes My Miracle” (above).
