Kristen Stewart deals with a series of a royal headaches in the official trailer for “Spencer,” a biographical drama about a critical time in the life of ill-fated international treasure Princess Diana.

Set in 1991, nearly six years before Diana’s tragic death in Paris, the film follows the Princess of Wales (Stewart) for three days around Christmas at one of the Queen’s estates as her marriage to heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles (Jack Farthing) falls hopelessly apart and she must decide whether to keep calm and carry on under the blinding lights of the paparazzi or part ways with the royal family for good.

“Do you know, I really like things that are simple. Ordinary. The things that are real,” Stewart’s character says while trapped in what seems to be a series of majestic nightmares.

Directed by Pablo Larraín (“Jackie”) and written by Steven Knight (“Peaky Blinders”), “Spencer” co-stars Sally Hawkins, Timothy Spall, and Sean Harris.

As her fans will surely note, Stewart is no stranger to having her love life scrutinized by the paparazzi. She dated fellow Stern Show veteran Robert Pattinson while they filmed the “Twilight” series, and cameras followed the couple everywhere they went before the two parted ways in 2013. Kristen spoke about the romance with Howard in 2019 during her Stern Show debut. Check out a clip from the interview (below).

“Spencer” arrives in theaters Nov. 5.
