Close your eyes, open your ears, and “Smell My Tuchus.”

That’s the title of Howard’s band’s debut single, played for the first time on Wednesday morning’s Stern Show. Further legitimizing the project, the single’s artwork was done by Attack Peter, who has worked with the likes of Coheed and Cambria, Phish, and Mastodon, to name a few. “He’s a big deal,” Howard noted before displaying true confidence in the music. “I’ll see you fuckers at the Grammys.”

With assistance from drummer Richard Christy and guitarist Steve Nowicki, Howard’s new band (named simply Tuchus) is already working on new material and even talking playing out — with one caveat. “Our concerts will start at four in the afternoon,” Howard insisted before adding, “I eat dinner at five.”
