Advertisers have been putting great songs in not-so-great commercials for years, but on Wednesday morning Howard revealed he was particularly annoyed by one for the anti-diabetes medicine turned trendy weight-loss solution Ozempic, which had co-opted Pilot’s 1974 hit “Magic.”

“They’re using the song [that goes,] ‘Oh, oh, oh, it’s magic.’ They’re going … ‘Oh, oh, oh, Ozempic.’ They can’t do that,” he told listeners with a laugh. “I sit there on my high horse, and I go, ‘Oh, oh, oh, I hate this.’”

After hearing a clip of the jingle, co-host Robin Quivers couldn’t help but agree. “That’s not catchy,” she said before laughing about how the drug’s TV commercial shows people gleefully dancing while the narrator rattles off potential complications.

“Every musician dreams of their music being used to distract you from a long list of side effects,” Howard concluded. “It’s like, ‘You might shit your organs out,’ and they’re like, ‘Oh, oh, oh Ozempic … If you take Ozempic you might eat your foot.’”
