AUDIO: Would Sal Governale’s Mom Be Willing to Pick Him Out of a Penis Lineup?

While Sal Governale was admittedly hesitant last week to pitch his mom on a visit to the studio for a special segment, it seems his fears were unwarranted.

On Wednesday, Howard clued listeners in to a series of ideas presented to him by Sal and his co-worker Richard Christy — one of which neither Stern Show staffer was all too excited to actually participate in.

The particular bit involved inviting their mothers to the studio to see if they could pick their sons’ penises out of a lineup similar to the feat Gary Dell’Abate once accomplished. “I don’t even know if I have the balls to call her to ask her,” Sal confessed at the time.

But as it turns out, he was able to make the call. And on Monday, Howard played tape of the awkward conversation.

“We were thinking about having you come on the show for Mother’s Day,” Sal told his mom. “I’m going to go behind a curtain and me and three other men are going to stick our weiners through a hole and you have to guess which one is your son’s penis.”

To his surprise, she was game. “Oh … um, alright,” Mrs. Governale replied. “I mean, you’re my son.”
