“The Strain” is coming back for just one more run.

On Tuesday, FX announced the renewal of its vampire horror drama for a fourth and final season. The network revealed the series will begin its final run in the Summer of 2017.

“We sincerely thank Carlton Cuse, Guillermo del Toro, Chuck Hogan and their creative team as well as the fantastic cast for three exciting seasons of ‘The Strain,'” said Nick Grad, one of FX’s Presidents of Original Programming, in a statement to TheWrap. “Though we’re sad to see it go, we fully support the way in which they are crafting the fourth season’s dramatic conclusion.”

“The Strain” – which stars Corey Stoll, Kevin Durand, David Bradley, and Mia Maestro, among others – follows a group of New Yorkers attempting to defend their city (and perhaps their entire species) against a vampire takeover. The series is based on a best-selling trilogy written by del Toro and Hogan.

“The Strain” airs Sundays at 10 p.m. on FX. Season 3 concludes Oct. 30.
