Coffee That Claims to Give Erections Investigated by FDA
"Stiff Bull" was slapped with a warning for containing an unlisted ingredient

If you enjoy starting your day with a coffee and an erection, Stiff Bull coffee may be for you.
Sure, aphrodisiac coffee sounds like a great idea, but Stiff Bull is currently under fire by the Food and Drug Administration for containing an unlisted ingredient: desmethyl carbodenafil, a chemical similar to the active ingredient in Viagra. Combined with nitrates found in prescription drugs and born from certain illnesses, desmethyl carbodenafil can have adverse effects, while also lowering blood-pressure to “dangerous levels.”
Stiff Bull responded by saying there was a mix-up of ingredients. As told to Indy 100, Stuff Bull president Keith Hanson claimed the problem was “a combination of things – one, the manufacturer of the coffee, located in Malaysia, had lots of different formulas, and he’d been importing his coffee in the U.S. for 10 years. There were never any substances found.”
Hanson also claimed the manufacturer started adding desmethyl carbodenafil to offset the cost of intended ingredients, Maca Root and Tongkat Ali, without his knowledge.
The FDA hasn’t banned Stiff Bull coffee, but it’s encouraging customers to report any medical issues to the agency’s MedWatch Safety Information and Adverse Event Reporting Program.
