Al Roker Gets a Sneak Peek at Prince’s Paisley Park Museum
Get a look at the late music legend's home and music studio before it opens to the public

Prince fans can get ready to party like it’s 1999, because the late legend’s Paisley Park estate in Chanhassen, Minn. will soon open to the public as a museum. On Wednesday’s edition of “Today,” Al Roker got a sneak peek.
Roker gives viewers a little tour of Prince’s home, noting that nothing has been touched since the musician passed away. Thus, fans will be able to witness unique elements like instruments, awards, and sheets of music with notes on a stand in Prince’s home studio. The museum’s archivist Angie Marchese also shows Roker Prince’s extensive wardrobe, pointing out every single item was custom made for the “Purple Rain” singer. “Prince saved everything,” she told Roker.
Roker also chatted with Prince’s sisters, Sharon and Norrine Nelson, who are overseeing the museum project. “The spirit of Prince is here,” Norrine said.
