Darth Vader Takes Over New ‘Rogue One’ International Trailer
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” hits theaters Dec. 16

The Dark Side is front and center in the latest “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” trailer.
Previous looks at the upcoming spinoff film centered on Jyn Erso’s (Felicity Jones) quest to bolster the Rebel Alliance, but the international trailer released Thursday zeroes in on two Empire stalwarts in action: Darth Vader and the Death Star.

Granted, Darth Vader doesn’t do much here except spin around like runway model, but the moment has still taken the internet by storm. At the 0:50 mark, you can also catch a glimpse of the Death Star testing out it’s planet-busting laser.
Gareth Edwards (“Godzilla”) directed “Rogue One,” which stars Jones, Diego Luna, Mads Mikkelsen, Donnie Yen, and Ben Mendelsohn. The film hits theaters Dec. 16.
