Dave Grohl’s Kids Take Center Stage in Star-Filled Foo Fighters Video

“The Sky Is a Neighborhood” is the second single from the band’s Sept. 15 “Concrete and Gold” EP

Foo Fighters are keeping it in the family with their video for “The Sky Is a Neighborhood,” a fairytale-fueled cut from the band’s upcoming “Concrete and Gold” album.

Frontman Dave Grohl directed the video (above), which features his pre-teen daughters Violet and Harper reading a storybook in a picturesque cabin under a starry night’s sky. The girls have trouble getting to sleep, however, as their dad’s band rocks out on the rooftop while stars twinkle brightly in their eyes.

“The Sky Is a Neighborhood” is the second single from “Concrete and Gold.” Before going young with this video, the band went very, very old with its video for the album’s lead single “Run” which featured Dave and his bandmates leading a retirement home revolt in makeup as octogenarians.

Foo Fighters kick off a North American tour in October, alongside acts like Queens of the Stone Age, Cage the Elephant, Royal Blood, and Liam Gallagher. “Concrete and Gold”—featuring Sir Paul McCartney drumming on one of the tracks—is available Sept. 15.
