VIDEO: Cops Fight Crime and Boredom in ‘No Activity’ Red Band Trailer

Cops battle boredom and perhaps eventually bad guys in the uncensored red-band trailer for “No Activity,” an upcoming comedy series executive produced by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, and Funny or Die.
Premiering in November on the digital network CBS All Access, the eight-episode season largely follows low-level police officers (played by Patrick Brammall and Tim Meadows) partaking in the mother of all mundane stakeouts. While action takes a backseat to patrol-car banter, the trailer (above) does offer a look at the clueless criminals the cops are hoping to collar, including low-level cartel members played by Ferrell, “Breaking Bad’s” Jesse Plemons, and Stern Show celebrity superfan Jason Mantzoukas.
The NSFW trailer also teases a ton of the show’s planned guest stars, like Jake Johnson, Bridget Everett, Amy Sedaris, and Oscar-winning Stern Show veteran J.K. Simmons.
“No Activity” debuts Sunday, Nov. 12 on CBS All Access. Watch the red-band trailer (above).
