Repeat Stern Show guest Kevin Bacon plays a revered but amoral F.B.I. veteran who teams up with a by-the-books prosecutor to clean up Boston on Showtime’s “City on a Hill,” premiering in June.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon produced the ‘90s-set crime-drama which follows Agent Rohr (Bacon) and assistant district attorney Decourcy Ward (“Leverage’s” Aldis Hodge) as they form an unlikely alliance with the goal of reforming the crime-ridden metropolis’s ineffective criminal justice system.

“I wanna rip out the fucked up machinery in this bullshit city,” Hodge’s character explains over imagery of courtroom battles, armed robberies, and a priest getting harassed by his curmudgeonly F.B.I. agent ally.

“I treat everyone the same,” Bacon’s character scoffs at one point. “Bad.”

Created by Chuck MacLean, the 10-episode series also stars Jonathan Tucker, Mark O’Brien, and Jill Hennessy.

“City on a Hill” premieres Sunday, June 16 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
