Chadwick Boseman scours the Big Apple for cop killers in the new trailer for “21 Bridges,” an upcoming action-thriller produced by “Avengers: Endgame” directors Joe and Anthony Russo.

Boseman, best known for his heroics in “Black Panther” and the Russos’ “Avengers” films, stars as a second-generation police officer who teams up with another detective (“Loudest Voice” star Sienna Miller) to lead a citywide manhunt for two cop suspects on the run.

“They told me you’re the guy who kills killers,” her character says upon meeting him (above).

However, as the investigation unfolds and Boseman chases the suspects through every dark alleyway in Manhattan, he begins to suspect there’s more to the case than meets the eye. He may in fact be embroiled in a massive conspiracy. “This is a setup,” he eventually tells a senior officer played by Oscar-winning Stern Show veteran J.K. Simmons.

“Call it what you want,” Simmons responds. “If you go down this road, you’ll be looking over your shoulder the rest of your life.”

“I’d rather look the devil in the eye,” Boseman tells him.

Brian Kirk (“Game of Thrones”) directed the film, which also stars Taylor Kitsch, Keith David, Morocco Omari, and Stephan James.

“21 Bridges” opens Nov. 22 in theaters.
