Emily Blunt and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson embark on a dangerous Amazonian adventure in the new trailer for “Jungle Cruise,” arriving in July.

The 2015 Stern Show guest and “A Quiet Place II” actress stars as Lily Houghton, a determined explorer who teams up with a goofy but fearless riverboat captain (Johnson) to hunt for a magical, mythical tree that neither one of them is sure actually exists.

“There is a legend in the jungles of the Amazon of a tree that heals all,” Blunt explains (above). “It could change the world, but if it gets into the wrong hands it could awaken a great evil.”

Lily may hold the key to finding the healing tree, which Frank has been searching for his whole life, but they’ll need to traverse a diverse array of dangers to get there, including deadly beasts and a bad guy with snakes crawling out of his face.

Following in the rich tradition of Disney blockbusters like Johnny Depp’s “Pirates of the Caribbean” and Eddie Murphy’s “Haunted Mansion,” “Jungle Cruise” was inspired by the Disneyland theme park ride of the same name. Jaume Collet-Serra (“Non-Stop”) directed the film, which also features Édgar Ramírez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, and Stern Show veteran Paul Giamatti.

“Jungle Cruise” opens July 24.
