“He takes up all the energy in the room and he puts out all the energy and I was like grateful for it,” Howard says of his longtime driver’s behavior

The annual Stern Show holiday party might have been virtual this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but that didn’t stop staffers like Ronnie “the Limo Driver” Mund from their usual antics. “My God, he comes to life,” Howard said Monday morning of being in a Zoom breakout room with his longtime driver. “He’s endlessly, like, yelling … he takes up all the energy in the room and he puts out all the energy and I was like grateful for it.”

“Just having a good time, man – as always,” Ronnie explained of his behavior. “I had a few drinks in me.”

After a few gin and tonics (his drink of choice), Ronnie and fiancée Stephanie displayed their collection of sex toys, which staffer Chris Wilding described as being endless. “It was like a clown car, like he just kept pulling this shit out,” Chris remarked. “You forget there’s people like outside of our world at this thing and you sort of go into some of the squares and people just look horrified.”

When Jason Kaplan’s sushi meal was canceled at the last minute, the staffer wound up ordering $100 worth of Papa John’s – including a whole pizza all to himself. “It had ground beef and American cheese and pickles and ketchup on it and I have to say, pickles on the pizza were really good,” he said before admitting to getting a variety of appetizers and desserts, too. “I was just drinking and eating and having fun and not thinking about anything … my weight is concerning when I think about it.”

Noted in recent years for his consumption of marijuana and alcohol, JD Harmeyer certainly didn’t disappoint at the party, either. “He was so trashed, he couldn’t even talk,” Ronnie said of his colleague’s behavior.

“We got a couple bottles of wine – I drank awfully quickly,” JD confirmed of his consumption.
