VIDEO: Millie Bobby Brown and Matthew Modine Reunite in Mysterious New ‘Stranger Things 4’ Teaser

Millie Bobby Brown and Matthew Modine’s characters are reunited in the mysterious new teaser for “Stranger Things 4,” Netflix’s Emmy-winning, ‘80s-set sci-fi drama.

Set in the facility where the show’s superpowered heroine Eleven (Brown) used to live, the short clip (above) seems to be a flashback from the days when she was being trained by Dr. Martin Brenner (Modine), a.k.a. Papa, one of the primary villains from Season 1. Dr. Brenner’s face is never seen on screen, but his voice is heard calling out to Brown’s character. “Eleven, are you listening?” he asks.

While the teaser doesn’t reveal too many details about the next batch of “Stranger Things” episodes, it does imply Eleven’s past will be explored and new superpowered children may even be introduced.

“Stranger Things 4” still doesn’t have a release date, but production on the show reportedly resumed last fall. Several new cast members have already been announced for the new season, including Robert Englund of “A Nightmare on Elm Street” fame, “Booksmart’s” Eduardo Franco, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” actor Jamie Campbell Bower, and “Game of Thrones” actor Tom Wlaschiha.
