JD Harmeyer is a man of few words. The ones he chose to use for fellow Stern Show staffer Ronnie Mund and his now wife Stephanie at their wedding recently raised eyebrows across the board. “I listened to JD’s speech — it’s fucking ridiculous,” Howard said point blank Tuesday morning. “When he gets nervous, I guess he giggles and mumbles. You don’t know what the fuck he’s talking about.”
In exclusive tape from the reception, JD kicked things off shouting out his hometown of Fairmount, Ohio before being perhaps a little too honest. “I don’t like to travel. I don’t like to socialize. I don’t like to do anything — but I came here,” he told the crowd. “I love them both — leave me alone.”
“I kind of had a prepared thing but, you know, by the time I got up there I was a little lit,” JD later admitted to Howard before explaining his intent. “I wanted to express how much I [care] about you guys.”
After Howard pushed JD to explain his love for Ronnie, the staffer eventually had a breakthrough. “He’s very generous, he’s one of the most generous men I’ve ever known,” he noted.
“There’s your speech,” Howard responded in approval.
