Metallica fans across the globe tuned in on Wednesday night to live stream the iconic metal band’s concert in Edmonton, Canada.

The performance—well over two hours long and featuring nearly 20 songs—was the final North American stop of the band’s massive “WorldWired” Tour 2017, which kicked off this May in Baltimore.

Metallica rocked the house with many of its renowned classics, including “Fade to Black” and “Nothing Else Matters,” as well as their recent hits like “Hardwired” and “Atlas, Rise!”

Frontman James Hetfield also took the mic early on to deliver an impassioned speech to his fans, the “Metallica family.”

In a recent interview, guitarist (and horror movie memorabilia aficionado) Kirk Hammett revealed the band was actually a bit nervous before kicking off its massive tour. “It’s been awhile since we’ve been in America doing a tour like this, and we were a little bit apprehensive,” he said. “‘Are people gonna show up with the same enthusiasm that they did last time?’ But they certainly have, in droves, and then more so. People are showing their love more than ever for Metallica, and it’s great. And just as importantly, we seem to be reaching a lot of new fans who have never seen us before, and to us, that’s fantastic.”

While this may be the end of the North American portion of Metallica’s “WorldWired” Tour 2017, James told Howard during Metallica’s visit last September that the band has no plans of slowing down any time soon. “You don’t retire as an artist. You just keep doing what you do,” he said. “We know that route, where you don’t make any more albums and you kind of just end up on the fairs playing your hits. That is an option but we don’t want that option right now.”
