Comedy icon's “Equanimity” hits Netflix on New Year’s Eve

Netflix combines its marquee offerings in sci-fi and comedy in the first trailer for Dave Chappelle’s upcoming stand-up special “Equanimity,” which shows the iconic entertainer coming face-to-face with Millie Bobby Brown of “Stranger Things” …. and loving it.
The short teaser begins with the young actress’s telekinetic character Eleven laying the smackdown on two people trying to kidnap her, using her mind to fling one of them across a room and into a wall.
Suddenly, a cheerful Chappelle appears from out of nowhere and begs to get similar treatment. “Do me,” he tells her. “Do me next.”
“Dave Chappelle: Equanimity,” the latest Netflix special from the past Stern Show guest, hits Netflix Dec. 31 while “Stranger Things” Season 2 is out now. Watch the “Equanimity” teaser (above).
