A decay of privacy in the digital age somehow leads to a deliciously bloody killing spree in the red band trailer for “Assassination Nation,” a high-octane and super salacious satire headed to theaters in September.

Narrated by a scantily clad teen protagonist named Lily (Odessa Young), the highly stylized teaser (above) has her setting the stage for sex, mayhem, and murder run amok in Salem, Mass., after hackers upload the town’s deepest, darkest secrets—including everyone’s porn-viewing history—onto the internet.

Co-produced by “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” scribe David S. Goyer, the film stars a frenzied cast of young actors including Bella Thorne (“The Babysitter” and “Midnight Sun”), Bill Skarsgård (“Castle Rock”), Suki Waterhouse (“Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”), Hari Nef (“Transparent”), and Maude Apatow (“Knocked Up”)—the now 20-year-old daughter of Stern Show celebrity superfan Judd Apatow—as well as fellow past guest Joel McHale.

“Assassination Nation,” written and directed by Sam Levinson (“The Wizard of Lies”) premiered earlier in the year at Sundance Film Festival and hits theaters Sept. 21. Watch the official red band trailer (above).
