VIDEO: Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams Solve a Real-Life Murder Mystery in ‘Game Night’
Upcoming action-comedy costars Kyle Chandler, Michael C Hall, Jesse Plemons, and Sharon Horgan
November 9, 2017It’s all fun and games until someone gets sucked into a jet engine in the teaser trailer for “Game Night,” an upcoming Warner Bros. action-comedy.
The newly released teaser (above) follows Max and Annie, a couple played by Stern Show guest Jason Bateman and Oscar nominee Rachel McAdams, as they prepare for what they think will be a run-of-the-mill game night hosted by Max’s brother (Kyle Chandler). But soon they learn there’s something much weirder and more dangerous in store.
“Tonight, we’re taking game night up a notch. Someone in this room is going to be taken. And it’s going to be up to you to find them,” Chandler’s character tells his gathered guests. “You’re not gonna know what’s real and what’s fake.”
As if on cue, dangerous looking thugs bust into the party and kidnap him. At first the partygoers are unperturbed, but before long people are getting shot, bad guys are getting sucked into jet engines, and Bateman’s character is chewing on a squeaky dog toy.
Bateman, who also co-produced “Game Night,” most recently visited the Stern Show in 2014 when he discussed his early days in Hollywood, his R-rated comedy flick “Bad Words,” and his Netflix series “Arrested Development,” which returns in 2018 for Season 5. “Game Night,” co-starring Michael C Hall, Jeffrey Wright, Jesse Plemons, Lamorne Morris, and Sharon Horgan, hits theaters March 2, 2018. Watch the teaser (above).
