VIDEO: Bruce Wayne Joins Forces With Penguin and Riddler in New Trailer for ‘Gotham’s’ Final Episodes
The 2-part finale for Fox’s long-running Batman prequel begins airing on April 18

Heroes and villains must unite to save their city from destruction in a new trailer for the final episodes of Fox’s “Gotham.”
With Gotham City under siege, it’s up to Detective Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie), the rest of the G.C.P.D., and a young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) on the verge of becoming Batman to prevent complete disaster. Finding themselves outnumbered and outmaneuvered by Bane (Shane West) and his army, however, they have no choice but to form a tenuous alliance with two of their long-standing foes: Penguin and Riddler, played by Stern Show veterans Robin Lord Taylor and Cory Michael Smith, respectively.
Still, the odds seem to be against Gotham City’s small band of defenders. “This isn’t a war, this is a firing squad,” a bazooka-wielding Bane tells them as his forces encircle theirs.
The two-part series finale focuses on more than just the war for Gotham City, of course. A previous teaser for the Season 5 climax also highlights Bruce’s impending showdown with the show’s newly realized incarnation of the Joker (Cameron Monaghan). Check out that trailer (below).
“Gotham” airs its final two episodes at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 18 and Thursday, April 25 on Fox.
