Howard played a message from Richard Christy's father, who called to say the family's beloved pet rooster, Dumbass, was eaten by the family pooch, Coon Dog. Richard said his family loved Dumbass, and that his dad would take him in the car when he went out. He also said whenever someone threw a soda can on the ground; the rooster would try to "make love to it." However, Dumbass' one flaw was that he was too friendly, and while the other roosters knew to stay away from Coon Dog, Dumbass just couldn't resist, which ultimately led to his death. Another reason Richard's dad called was to see if Richard had gotten the deer sticks he had sent him. Richard said he started eating them, but they were moldy so he had to throw them out. He added his dad packed the deer sticks in a bag of ice, and then sent them via Priority Mail all the way from Kansas, which took three days. By the time they arrived in New York, the deer sticks were in a bag of water. Artie feels that when you're mailing meat sticks, your best bet is to send them overnight.
